About Us – a few things about our bungalows
Welcome to Baobab Bungalow Villas! Created in 2022/2023 by Arjan van Honk and friends Nathan, Thomas and Nicky from Blue Reef Sport and Fishing Lodge, our resort is nestled in the village of Jambiani.
Inspired by their love for the island, its stunning beauty, the warm-hearted locals, and the laid-back lifestyle, Arjan and his friends decided to bring their vision to life. During their annual friends’ gathering, the idea of comfortable long stay houses took shape. They realized that most accommodations in the area were hotels lacking the comfort and convenience of a true home, complete with a kitchen.
after months construction, we are excited to announce that Baobab Bungalow Villas is now open for visitors starting from the 1st of June. Each Bungalow villa has been thoughtfully designed to provide a memorable and relaxing stay, ensuring guests feel at ease and have the freedom to create their own space.

Zanzibar is famous for its powercuts.
We don’t have a back up generator so if the power goes of, we don’t have power. We supply u with solar lighs and buckets of water to wash urself
In general a cut take between 1 hours and extreem casus 14-16 hours.
